MASTER ADAPT - MAinSTreaming Experiences at Regional and local level for ADAPTation to climate change.
The main objective of the Master Adapt project is to develop a methodology able to include climate change adaptation into statutory territorial plans and programs. Central to project is the identification and testing of multi-level governance tools to support regional and local authorities in including the adaptation to CC into sectorial policies. Furthermore, vulnerability analysis are developed in order to identify the most suitable priorities for each territorial unit. Territories involved in the project are: Sardinia Region, Metropolitan Area of Cagliari, City of Sassari, aggregation of cities in the northern part of Milan, Metropolitan City of Venice, Aggregation of Cities in Northern Salento and Lombardy Region.
